Founded in 1947, The Franklin Area Chamber of Commerce serves the City of Franklin, Franklin Township, and Northern Warren County.
The Chamber meets regularly on the third Monday of each month. Meetings typically begin with lunch and include speaker of interest to business and the community. Topics in the last year included employee retention, insurance issues, workers’ compensation updates, and community projects. All Chamber members and their guests are welcomed at each meeting.
The Franklin Area Chamber of Commerce supports the efforts of Franklin City Schools, including the Business Advisory committee for School-To-Work. Many Chamber members participate in job shadowing and mentoring, for both students and educators.
The Chamber was a founding member of Franklin’s Ohio Bicentennial committee, bringing a mural to downtown, restoring the town clock, and sponsoring the Heritage Festival and Pageant.
The Franklin Chamber partners with Chambers in Lebanon, Springboro, and Waynesville to promote the Heritage Triangle and the rich history and culture of our four communities. In addition, the Franklin Chamber is a charter member of the Southwest Ohio Heritage Area Initiative to cultivate the historical and cultural resources in the 12 southwest Ohio counties.
The Chamber works with the Warren County One-Stop to provide the business community with Job Fairs and seminars that support business needs in Warren County.
The Chamber of Commerce is proud to have an excellent working relationship with the City of Franklin. |
