Community CPR/AED
This CPR course is designed to provide the general public the fundamental skills and confidence to perform CPR on an adult, child, & infant. This course will teach participants how to recognize and alleviate airway obstructions, the proper use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and the signs, symptoms and corrective action for a stroke or heart attack. A course completion certification e-card will be provided to those who successfully complete the course.
Intended Audience
This course is recommended for the general public and is scheduled every other month
Note: This course will not fill the requirements for BLS Healthcare Providers.

BLS Healthcare Provider
Course Description
The BLS Healthcare Provider course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. A course completion certification e-card will be provided to those who successfully complete the course.
Intended Audience
The course is intended for certified or non-certified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals such as: physicians; nurses; physical and occupational therapists; physician’s assistants; medical, dental or nursing assistants, police officers, and other healthcare professionals. Classes are scheduled every other month.
Course Length
Approximately 4 hours
LOCATION: All classes held at Fire Station 45 East 4th Street, Franklin, Ohio 45005.
CLASS SIZE: There is a maximum number of 9 students each class and at least one student must be registered one week prior to class or class will be canceled. So sign up early and bring a friend.

DRESS CODE: Dress is casual and comfortable
MEALS/BREAKS: Most classes are "worked through," meaning we snack through class to minimize breaks for shorter total class time.
