MONTHLY BUILDING DEPARTMENT REPORT
Don Woods, Chief Building Official, of the City of Franklin reports the following activity for the month of August 2006:
Twenty-seven permits were issued for the month with an estimated value of $923,857. In comparison July had nineteen permits issued with an estimated value of $1,757,514.
Four permits were issued for new residential structures in Sycamore Glenn and Shaker Meadows Subdivisions with an estimated construction value of $708,752.
One permit was issued for an addition/alteration to the residential structure at 152 Evergreen Court with an estimated construction value of $5,410.
Two permits were issued for residential garages, 1000 Poinciana Drive and 4100 Beal Road, with an estimated construction value of $102,079.
One permit was issued for a new commercial building, Richards Monuments, at 1095 North Main Street with a construction value of $107,616.
Nineteen miscellaneous permits were issued with an estimated value of $19,000.
For the year 147 permits have been issued with a construction value of $26,814,318 compared to 139 permits and a construction value of $6,088,580 through August of 2005.
