Franklin Area Historical SocietyThe Franklin Area Historical Society is currently accepting volunteer applications to serve at the Log Post Office on River Street. The Post Office dates to 1805. It was commissioned by Thomas Jefferson and is one of the oldest standing post offices in Ohio. Please contact the Historical Society for more information. (937) 746-8457
