Our Public Works team is creating a three-foot berm around the playground equipment within Community Park to protect the play surface from flooding. The berm will also provide a physical barrier that helps contain children within the designated play area and provides additional seating for caregivers or tennis spectators. The area will be sodded later this spring. 
The playground will still be fully accessible for all abilities via the paved path from the parking lot.
