Community Park Above Ground Storage Tank and Booster Station
Sunesis Construction Company was awarded a $4,141,961.00 contract to construct a 500,000 gallon above ground storage tank in Community Park to replace a 1938 Standpipe on E. Third St. Sunesis will also extend a 12” water main along SR 123 and install a booster station and generator as part of the project. The Ohio Department of Development granted the City $1,550,000 as part of the project. The City financed the remainder of the project through a low interest loan from the Ohio Water Development Authority. The project will start in March 2024. The project will help to provide water to the southern part of the City and also provide redundancy to the downtown area.
